Actually, it isn’t only veterinarians from Denver traveling to Kenya spaying and neutering, vaccinating against rabies, and, treating for parisites and general health concerns. Veterinarians from several U.S. communities participated but it the majority of doc’s practice in Denver. Lisa MaCarthy’s Vet Trek’s trip sterilized 246 dogs and cats in June. This week Julie Kelly’s veterinarian and care worker team vaccinated 6,160 dogs and cats in Machakos County and 3,187 dogs and cats in Taita Taveta County.
